1. 5.0MP1-2006-10-18aをインストールしたIA上で、オンラインチェックポイ
ント作成を行おうとすると、"Agent does not exist"というエラーメッセ
ージが表示されます。
2. RAC環境で、dbed_vmclonedbが"ERROR V-81-5551 fsck <filesystemname>
failed"エラーで終了します。
3. dbed_vmclonedbのマンページに余計なテキストがあります。
4. VRTSdbedパッケージとVRTSdbcomパッケージが両方ともvxckpt_ismounted
をコピーします。
5. ソースディレクトリの下にあるメイクファイルから、コンパイラの"-g"オ
プションを削除する必要があります。
6. vxckpt_ismountedコマンドのsetuidビットを削除する必要があります。
7. チェックポイントクォータの使用量をパーセンテージではなくブロック数
で表示すべきです。
8. dbed_vmsnapが、検証済みオフラインスナッププランのスナップショット
を受け付けません。
9. dbed_vmclonedbのコマンド行で不正なサーバー名を指定すると、次のよう
な紛らわしいエラーメッセージが表示されます。

10. "dbed_ckptplan"コマンドのヘルプを表示しようとすると、エラーが起き
ます。エラーは、日本語(ja)と英語(C)で表示されます。"DBED1025:
ERROR: Help is not available.'plan.main.help'"というエラーメッセ
ージが表示されます。ヘルプは表示されません。
11. 存在しないスナッププラン名をdbed_vmsnap内で使用すると、スクリプト
がエラーになります。
12. リポジトリ内にクローンdbがない場合は、問題が拡大しないように、
dbed_vmclonedbは終了すべきです。
13. dbed_vmclonedbの出力での誤字を修正する必要があります(paramter →
Parameter)。
14. 構成の保存に成功しても、dbed_saveconfigコマンドが1を返します。
15. 複数のCLIでのMessageID 3010/3002の誤用。

とすると、"Error Message not found for error code 0x1"というメッセ
ージが表示されます。

1. The online checkpoint creation fails for
5.0MP1-2006-10-18a on IA gives following error message
"Agent does not exist"
2. dbed_vmclonedb fails in RAC environment with
ERROR V-81-5551 fsck

3. Man page for dbed_vmclonedb has extra text.
4. vxckpt_ismounted is copied in both VRTSdbed and
VRTSdbcom packages.
5. "-g" option of compiler should be removed from Makefile
under source directory.
6. Remove setuid bit for vxckpt_ismounted command.
7. Checkpoint quota usage should be in blocks,
not in percentages.
8. dbed_vmsnap does not allow snapshot of validated
offline snapplan.
9. If an incorrect server name is specified on the
dbed_vmclonedb command-line, the following misleading error
messages are printed:

1. Back up your system before installing a patch.
2. Login as root.
3. Copy the patch to the /tmp directory.
4. Move to the /tmp directory and unshar the patch:
cd /tmp
sh PHCO_35354
5. Run swinstall to install the patch:
swinstall -x autoreboot=true -x patch_match_target=true \
-s /tmp/PHCO_35354.depot
By default swinstall will archive the original software in
/var/adm/sw/save/PHCO_35354. If you do not wish to retain a
copy of the original software, include the patch_save_files
option in the swinstall command above:
-x patch_save_files=false
WARNING: If patch_save_files is false when a patch is installed,
the patch cannot be deinstalled. Please be careful
when using this feature.
