"-n"オプションを使用せずにlocaledef(1M)を呼び出して新たなロケールをイ
ンストールすると、クリーンアップ時に、サブディレクトリpa20_64/hpux64が
完全に削除されてしまいます。
問題点の説明:

localedef(1M)が正常に実行された後、クリーンアップ時に、サブディレクト
リpa20_64(PAの場合)/hpux64(IAの場合)が削除されていました。しかも、メッ
セージがなにも表示されませんでした。
解決方法:
この問題を解決するようにlocaledef(1M)を修正しました。

When localedef(1M) without "-n" option is called to install
a new locale, it removes the sub-directory pa20_64
or hpux64 completely during cleanup.
Defect Description:

After the successful execution of localedef(1M),
the sub directory pa20_64 (On PA) or hpux64 (On IA) is
removed silently during cleanup.
Resolution:
localedef(1M) has been modified to fix the issue.

1. Back up your system before installing a patch.
2. Login as root.
3. Copy the patch to the /tmp directory.
4. Move to the /tmp directory and unshar the patch:
cd /tmp
sh PHCO_36504
5. Run swinstall to install the patch:
swinstall -x autoreboot=true -x patch_match_target=true \
-s /tmp/PHCO_36504.depot
By default swinstall will archive the original software in
/var/adm/sw/save/PHCO_36504. If you do not wish to retain a
copy of the original software, include the patch_save_files
option in the swinstall command above:
-x patch_save_files=false
WARNING: If patch_save_files is false when a patch is installed,
the patch cannot be deinstalled. Please be careful
when using this feature.
