more(1)やcstmを使用するksh(1)セッションがコンソール上でハングすること
があります。コンソール上で、more(1)コマンドを使ってラージファイルを出
力したり、cstmを使ってログレコードを表示したりすると、出力がすべて表示
された後セッションがハングすることがあります。つまり、ksh/cstmプロンプ
トが表示されないことがあります。kill(1)コマンドを使ってハングしている
ksh/cstmプロセスを強制終了すれば、ハングセッションを解放できます。

コンソールドライバは、次期IPFサーバーのコンソール機能をサポートする必
要があります。

解決方法:
コマンドの出力が完了したらtermio入力バッファをフラッシュするようにコー
ドを修正しました。

ドライバは、次期IPFサーバーに実装されている新たなRMP3カード上のコン
ソールをサポートする必要があります。

A ksh(1) session that uses more(1) or cstm may hang on the
console.
When a console uses either the more(1) command to
output a large file or the cstm to display log records, the
session may hang after the output has been displayed
completely, that is, either the ksh or the cstm prompt may
not be displayed.The hung session can be freed by issuing
the kill(1) command to terminate the hanging ksh or cstm
process.

console is created in this case.

1. Back up your system before installing a patch.
2. Login as root.
3. Copy the patch to the /tmp directory.
4. Move to the /tmp directory and unshar the patch:
cd /tmp
sh PHNE_33225
5. Run swinstall to install the patch:
swinstall -x autoreboot=true -x patch_match_target=true \
-s /tmp/PHNE_33225.depot
By default swinstall will archive the original software in
/var/adm/sw/save/PHNE_33225. If you do not wish to retain a
copy of the original software, include the patch_save_files
option in the swinstall command above:
