あるvParにPDH(Processor Dependent Hardware)コンソールを割り当てた後、
コンソールがハングします。
問題点の説明:
PHNE_36462:
1.(SR:8606479246 CR:JAGag33464)
asio0ドライバはI/Oシャーシオンライン削除をサポートしていませんでした。
解決方法:
I/Oシャーシオンライン削除(OLD)をサポートするように、asio0ドライバを修
正しました。ただし、HP-UX DynamicNPars製品がインストールされていない場
合、この修正はシステムに対してなにも影響を与えません。
2.(SR:8606481839 CR:JAGag35797)
vParの場合、PDHコンソールのボーレートをデフォルトで300に設定していまし
た。しかし、以下のプラットフォームでは、PDHポートのボーレートは9600以
上でなければなりません。
- 9000/800/rp8440
- 9000/800/rp7440
- 9000/800/SD16B
- 9000/800/SD32B
- 9000/800/SD64B
詳細は、システムファームウェアのリリースノートを参照してください。
解決方法:
vPar内の以下のプラットフォームでは、PDHコンソールポートのデフォルトの
ボーレートを9600に設定するようにコードを修正しました。
- 9000/800/rp8440
- 9000/800/rp7440
- 9000/800/SD16B
- 9000/800/SD32B
- 9000/800/SD64B
ボーレートを9600未満の値に変更しようとすると、ボーレートは9600以上の元
の値に戻ります。

Defect Description:

The asio0 driver does not support I/O chassis online
deletion.
Resolution:
The asio0 driver is modified to support I/O chassis online
deletion(OLD). However, If the HP-UX DynamicNPars product is
not installed, this defect fix has no impact on the system.

The Processor Dependent Hardware(PDH) console baud rate is
set to 300 by default in vPar.
The baud rate of PDH port should be greater than or equal to
9600 for the following platforms:
- 9000/800/rp8440
- 9000/800/rp7440
- 9000/800/SD16B
- 9000/800/SD32B
- 9000/800/SD64B

Resolution:
The default baud rate of Processor Dependent Hardware(PDH)
console port is set to 9600 for the following platforms in
vPar:
- 9000/800/rp8440
- 9000/800/rp7440
- 9000/800/SD16B
- 9000/800/SD32B
- 9000/800/SD64B
Attempt to change the baud rate to a value less than 9600
will restore the baud rate to a previous value which is
greater than or equal to 9600.

1. Back up your system before installing a patch.
2. Login as root.
3. Copy the patch to the /tmp directory.
4. Move to the /tmp directory and unshar the patch:
cd /tmp
sh PHNE_36462
5. Run swinstall to install the patch:
swinstall -x autoreboot=true -x patch_match_target=true \
-s /tmp/PHNE_36462.depot
By default swinstall will archive the original software in
/var/adm/sw/save/PHNE_36462. If you do not wish to retain a
copy of the original software, include the patch_save_files
option in the swinstall command above:
-x patch_save_files=false
WARNING: If patch_save_files is false when a patch is installed,
the patch cannot be deinstalled. Please be careful
when using this feature.
