Symptoms:
PHSS_36078:
1. DTS JAGag30294 SR 8606475995
CIMOM would be flooded with dynamic resource
change events when a CPU migration or LCPU
changes happen frequently. This results in very
high CPU and memory utilization by cimserver process.
HPSIM will be flooded with WBEM indications caused
by gWLM activity.
Defect Description:
PHSS_36078:
1. DTS JAGag30294 SR 8606475995
EVM event bursts are observed in the CIMOM
resulting in high CPU and memory utilization by
cimserver process. The dynamic resource change events
which were generated by EVM will now be constrained to
only those EVM events where _cim variable in event
template is configured to an indication class.
EVM-CIM provider dependency on the _cim variable has
been removed. The provider will act as a pass through
module for EVM events where _cim variable is initialized.
Enhancement:
No
